Get yourself to Greece for just $861 return 🇬🇷

Mykonos, which you can easily get to from Athens as part of this Scoot sale.

Being super organised can be super rewarding with this 2024 Europe flight deal.

We haven’t seen flights to Europe for less than $1,000 each way in years, which is why we’re stoked to find these cheap flights to Greece at just $861 return.

While they may have long stopovers in Singapore (with the exception of Perth departures), they are HALF the price of the next-cheapest flight, which is more than $1,700 return. Plus, the long stopover does nicely break up the journey to Athens and gives you time to sneak in a side-trip to Singapore.

Where can I travel from?

For $927 return, you’ll be able to fly to Athens, which is an easy ferry ride to the idyllic Greek isles, from Melbourne. But, it’s not much more to fly from Sydney or Perth.

  • Depart Sydney … $899 return
  • Depart Perth for $981 return

When is this cheap Greece flight available?

All the flights we found were for departures in February and March 2024, with some dates costing $40-$50 more, but still a bargain. You can use the Skyscanner calendar with a view of the entire month to see all dates that are available.

The screenshots above were taken for the following dates:

  • Melbourne: 12 February – 19 March
  • Sydney: 12 February -19 March
  • Perth: 4-19 March

What airline is this flight deal with?

Scoot, a budget airline based in Singapore (where your stopover will be en route to Athens).

What’s included in the price?

As a budget airline, Scoot doesn’t include much in with the base fare. (Think of it like Jetstar). You’ll get the guarantee of a seat on the plane and a carry-on bag up to 10kg. That’s more generous than most budget airlines.

But, if you need to check a bag, it won’t be cheap. We did a test booking and found adding a bag for the Melbourne-Athens flight was $127 each way. That will add more than $250 to your roundtrip ticket just to bring a checked bag.

If you want to choose your seat, you’re looking at an extra $15 each way ($30 return) and a meal will set you back at least $17 each way ($34 return).

Can I get any frequent flyer points?

Yes! Sort of… If you’re a Krisflyer member (that’s Singapore Airlines’ frequent flyer program), you can earns you 1 mile for every SGD$1 spent with Scoot.

Unfortunately Scoot doesn’t currently have its own frequent flyer program.

How to book these cheap Greece flights

We found these prices via Skyscanner, where you’ll be booking with a third party.

If you’d rather book directly with the airline, you can. It will cost you a little bit more though. Going through the Scoot website, we found these flights were $887 return.
