The cheapest time to travel to Singapore from Australia is during the off-peak months from March to November. This is when you’ll get the best prices on flights and accommodations.
That said, flight prices to Singapore from Australia are relatively steady year round. It’s really just around the very high season that they spike — this would include Christmas and New Year’s and major events like the Formula 1 around September.
While the above is the cheapest currently available flights on Skyscanner (as of the time of writing), Kayak has crunched the numbers to find the average flight prices throughout the year.
Generally, as long as you avoid December and January, you should be able to find a decently priced flight to Singapore — especially if you keep an eye our for sales from airlines like Jetstar, Scoot, AirAsia and Qantas.
During these periods, Singapore experiences a lull in tourist activity, making it the perfect time for budget-conscious Australian travelers to plan their visit. Not only will you find more affordable flights, but hotel prices also tend to dip, allowing you to make the most of your travel budget.

When is the best time to go to Singapore?
While temperatures are pretty steady year-round, February to October are the best months of the year to visit Singapore as they see the least rain.
Although they’re the peak summer months here in Australia and a busy travel period over Christmas, New Years and the school holidays, November to January are probably when you’ll want to avoid visiting. They’re the wettest months in Singapore and, curiously, the most popular and expensive for tourists to visit (other than those coming to see the Formula 1 race)

Thankfully, not! Singapore’s cheapest months also coincide with when the weather is at its best.
Being so close to the equator, temperatures are a steamy 30C to 32C year round in Singapore, so it will be hot and sticky no matter when you visit. But, it’s less likely to rain on your parade. So whether you visit in summer or winter, you’ll be wanting to seek reprieve from the midday sun at your hotel’s pool or an air conditioned shopping centre on Orchard Road.

Since prices and weather don’t fluctuate a ton for travel to Singapore, as long as you avoid September and November to January, you’ll should be able to find a well-priced flight and accommodation in Singapore.
We’d also recommend avoiding any school holiday periods, too. Singapore is a flight hub to destinations like Bali and Thailand, which are popular for families travelling when their kids are out of school. This added demand can easily drive flight prices up.
