Turkey’s summer is the opposite to Australia’s, so these are some of the warmest months to be visiting. If you’re considering a sailing tour, it’s a great time to go.

You’ll get checked baggage, meals and drinks during the flight and access to in-flight entertainment. Unfortunately seat selection isn’t free with Air China.

Overall, how good is this sale?
Great! The last time we shared a sale on flights to Turkey, although it was from Sydney, it was more than $1,000 return. This beats that fare by more than $100.
Considering we often see similar prices to places in Europe and the Middle East from both Sydney and Melbourne, we think this sale is pretty comparable.
What’s the catch?
There is a rather long stopover in each direction.On most of the dates we checked, there’s a 20-hour gap between flights in Beijing.
Luckily, you can leave the airport without a visa and explore some of Beijing’s sites like the Great Wall of China or Forbidden City.
