You can now fly between Melbourne and Hobart, including checked bags, for just $79 each way thanks to this new Rex route. Although higher than Jetstar’s base fare on this route, with the addition of luggage, it does make it a competitive deal. Even better, Rex also throws refreshments into the base fare.
While the airline has already been flying to King Island, Burnie and Devonport in Tasmania, this is its first route to Hobart.
