When are these Qantas flights available?
Most fares are available from July 2024 to March 2025. As usual with flight sales, school holidays and peak travel periods (including Christmas and New Year’s) are not available.
The exact travel dates vary a bit depending on the route and are listed out on the Qantas website.
What’s included in the price?
Being a full-service airline, you’ll get checked baggage, meals and drinks during the flight and access to the in-flight entertainment system.
If you’re a Qantas Frequent Flyer member, you can also choose your seat for free for the flight departing Australia.
Can I get any frequent flyer points?
Yes! You can earn points on all Qantas flights, whether it’s a sale fare or not.
Overall, how good is this sale?
It’s pretty good! While the destinations are a bit different, where this Qantas sale overlaps with the last Asia deal (in March) flights to Hong Kong are now cheaper than they were before. In the last sale, they were $901 from Brisbane, while they’re now $888.
Flights to Seoul are also cheaper. They’re starting at $929 return from Melbourne this time around, while last time the same route was $949.
How to book these flights
There’s no promo code required for these fares, so you can either book on the Qantas website or through your preferred travel booking site or travel agency.
Our experiences travelling with Qantas
Yes! When it comes to flights to Asia, we’ve flown with Qantas to or from Singapore, Bali and Manila.
If money were no object, we’d fly Qantas as much as possible. It’s comfortable, the staff are helpful and generally the food is pretty decent for airplane fare.
Being a full-service airline, we also don’t have to be as careful about squeezing everything into just a carry-on backpack or bringing back more liquids than planned (especially if we’re visiting anywhere known for its wine.
