When are these Qatar Airways flight deals available?
You can get the up-to-$500 discount on flights departing before 30 May or from 1 October 30 November, 3023.
While it’s noted on Qatar’s website that the deal is available from 6 March to 30 November, there’s actually a rather large blackout window from 1 June to 30 September.
Where can can I travel from?
Virgin Australia has a codeshare deal with Qatar Airways, so you’re able to depart from any Australian airport that Virgin Australia flies to.
If you’d like to limit the number of connections, Qatar Airways flies to Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth.

Qatar Airways. If you need a connection to one of the cities Qatar flies from (Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide or Perth), you’ll be able to book this on Qatar’s website too as it does codeshare with Virgin Australia.
What’s included in the price?
You’ll get a guaranteed seat (including seat selection), 30kg of checked baggage, meals and entertainment all included with your flight.
Even if your flight requires a connection on a Virgin plane (which usually doesn’t include anything more than a seat), you’ll still get the same inclusions.
A unique perk that Qatar offers, too, is that, if you need to refund your ticket, you can opt to do so for a credit that will give you an extra 10% value to use when you’re able to travel again.

Yes! Thanks to Qatar Airways and Virgin Australia’s partnership, you can collect Velocity Frequent Flyer points.
