Heating up the competition against Jetstar and Virgin Australia, Rex has just announced its newest route will be between Sydney and Adelaide and flights will be starting at $99 each way — including checked baggage and refreshments onboard.
By comparison, the equivalent fares with Jetstar and Virgin would be about $150 and $119 respectively, for early-July travel (when this new route starts).

When is this cheap Rex Airlines flight available?
You’ll be able to book the $99 fares from 30 June to 31 July. After that, flights go up to $119 each way — which is still very competitive with Virgin and Jetstar.
What’s included in the price?
You’ll get a seat on the plane, 23kg of checked baggage and a snack with your choice of water, tea of coffee on the flight. Seat selection isn’t included.
Can I get any frequent flyer points?
Unfortunately not. Rex doesn’t currently have a loyalty program.
