Take off to destinations across Asia, from India to China, Thailand to Vietnam in 2024.
We’re just a few days away, and it looks like the Singapore Airlines Black Friday sale is already here.
While not officially dubbed a Black Friday sale, considering it’s starting a few days before and ends on Tuesday, 28 November (just after Cyber Monday), we’ll call this a sale for the event. Flights are available to destinations across Asia, starting at just $627 return.
Where | When | With | Price |
---|---|---|---|
Asia & Europe | 21 April to 5 September, 2024 | Singapore Airlines | From $627 return |
Where can I travel from?
While the official sale page lists destinations across Asia (including Bangkok, Beijing, Seoul, Delhi, Ho Chi Minh City, Male, Manila and, of course, Singapore), we also found flights to Europe listed on the Singapore Airlines site that are a great deal for the airline.
Here’s the price of flights to Singapore from each Australian city:
- Darwin… $627 return
- Perth… $677 return
- Melbourne… $897 return
- Adelaide… $897 return
- Sydney… $901 return
In some cases, it’s actually cheaper to connect in Singapore and continue onto another destination within Asia. Some sample fares to Asia include:
- Perth to Bangkok… $738 return
- Perth to Cebu… $739 return
- Darwin to Da Nang… $778 return
- Melbourne to Beijing… $808 return
- Cairns to Beijing… $830 return

When is the Singapore Airlines Black Friday sale available?
The sale has already begun, and ends on 28 November.
If you’re looking for the travel dates, according to the Singapore Airlines site, you can fly from 21 April to 5 September, 2024 for these prices.
What’s included in the price?
Being a full-service airline, Singapore Airlines will include checked baggage, food and drink, in-flight entertainment with the price of your ticket. Unfortunately complimentary seat selection isn’t included in all fares, so it’s best to check at the time of booking.
Can I get any frequent flyer points?
Yes! You can earn 50% of the Krisflyer miles for this fare, which is the standard for Lite and Value fares.
Overall, how good is this sale?
While these fares are alright for Singapore Airlines, we’re not really wowed by it.
We had a look at flights to Singapore from Perth during the same time period and were able to find both Qantas and Emirates flights for a similar price. To be fair, Singapore Airlines was marginally cheaper than both, considering the other two airlines aren’t currently offering a sale, it diminishes the “wow” factor.
How to book these flights
You can find a full list of fares and book through Singapore Airlines’ website. however, we did find prices were a bit less when looking at Skyscanner. For example, the $627 flight from Singapore to Darwin was available for $601 on Skyscanner.
