Where can I travel from?

For $311 return, you’ll only be able to fly from Melbourne.

But, we know not everyone is in Victoria. Luckily, for just $22 more, you can also fly from Perth. Sydneysiders will need to pay a bit more, but can still score an awesome deal with $401 flights.

When is this cheap flight to Singapore available?

The travel window for this fare is quite far away, with flights not available at this price until January and February 2024 from Melbourne to Singapore.

The flights from Perth are cheapest in September, but for $30-$50 more, we also found flights in August, October and November.

Neither flights seem to be part of a sale, so you’ll want to book as soon as possible as they could disappear at any time.

Here’s when we took the above screenshots:

  • Melbourne: 15-22 February
  • Perth: 5-8 September
  • Sydney: 15-22 February

What airline are these cheap Singapore flights with?

Flights departing from Melbourne or Sydney are with Jetstar, but aren’t part of the latest return for free sale.

If you’re flying from Perth, you’ll be travelling with Scoot.

What’s included in the price?

Both Jetstar and Scoot are budget airlines, so you won’t get anything included other than the guarantee of a seat and a carry-on bag.

If you’re flying with Jetstar, you can bring 7kg with you, while on Scoot, you can bring 10kg.

Can I get any frequent flyer points?

Not on the Jetstar flights, unless you upgrade to a non-Starter fare. Then you can collect Qantas Frequent Flyer points. (If you want to check bags, choose a seat and get an in-flight meal, it may be worth it.)

For flights with Scoot, you can earn one of Singapore Airlines’ Krisflyer miles for every SGD$1 spent.

How to book these flights

We found these fares on Skyscanner. You can also book them directly with Jetstar or Scoot, but we found prices were slightly higher.
