Sydneysiders can bag Vietnam flights from $409 return 🇻🇳

Take off to Ho Chi Minh City with the new direct service from Vietjet

Last week we brought you the unreal deal for Vietnam flights from Melbourne, and now it’s available from Sydney. (Well, for slightly more – sorry, Sydney!)

Service on the new route between Sydney and Ho Chi Minh City starts on 12 April and to celebrate, you can book flights from about $200 each way, as advertised on the Vietjet Air site.

We had a look, and the best prices we are able to get are $409 return.

When is this cheap Vietnam flight available?

We took the above screenshot for a flight departing Sydney on 27 May, and returning on 25 June. We know that’s a long trip for some, but surrounding dates in May and June are available for only slightly higher prices.

Where can can I travel from?

These flights are available from Sydney, with direct service to Ho Chi Minh. City.

Vietjet Air will also be flying from Brisbane, and if that’s a closer airport to you, you can also nab flights from $442 return.

Vietjet Air, which is a budget carrier based in Vietnam.

What’s included in the price?

At these prices, you won’t get anything more than the promise of a seat on the plane along with a carry-on bag that can be up to 7kg.

If you do want to bring bags, have a meal or select your seats you’ll need to pay extra, but, luckily, prices for those are still relatively cheap

• 20kg of checked baggage is $42 each way
• In-flight meals are $10 each way

Can I get any frequent flyer points?
