The latest Virgin Australia sale slings super cheap flights, with more than a dozen routes available for less than $100 each way — with the cheapest coming in at just $55.
Flights to and from almost every major city (sorry, Perth!) are available in the double digits, including sunny locales including the Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast and Cairns.
If you want to fly a bit further afield, Bali flights are also available from $479 return, and Queenstown fares are down to $289 each way.

When is this cheap Virgin Australia flight available?
Each route as slightly different travel dates, ranging from July to November. Exact dates are all listed on Virgin Australia’s website.
Early planners can also score some summer flight deals for next year. Some are also available in mid-January 2024.
What’s included in the price?
Virgin Australia only includes the guarantee of a seat on the plane and access to in-flight entertainment with your ticket. (And, you will need your own device to access those TV shows and movies.)
If you want to check a bag or select which seat you’ll be sitting in, you’ll need to pay.
However, compared to other budget airlines the prices really aren’t that bad.
For example, we checked the prices for a flight between Sydney and Ballina Byron ($55) and Brisbane and Cairns ($99) to see what the prices were like. The cheaper route charged $22 each way for the option to choose a seat, check one 23kg bag and change flights up to two weeks before departure, among other perks. For the more expensive flight, the cost was $25.
Can I get any frequent flyer points?
