Where can I travel with this Virgin Australia promo code?
We were only able to get the discount on domestic fares. Most routes we tried, regardless of whether or not there’s an AFL team on either end qualified for the discount.
While Virgin Australia’s website doesn’t actually say which routes the code is valid on, we did some testing ourselves. Here’s a few before-and-after prices we found

What’s included in the price?
This promo code is available on Virgin Australia flights in either the “Lite” or “Choice” class. Here’s what you’ll get with each and a an examples of what the price difference is for each.

So, for this route, an extra $27 will get you seat selection, checked baggage and some Velocity Frequent Flyer perks.
Can I get any frequent flyer points?
You sure can! All Virgin fares allow you to earn Velocity points, whether it’s on sale or not. For economy flights, you earn points for each dollar spent rather than how far you’re flying or what ticket type you purchase.
As you can see on the image above, you’ll earn 962 points on the “Lite” fare ($192), and 1,097 points on the “Choice” fares. Both equalling about 5 points per dollar spent.
Overall, how good is this sale?
Good! We love a promo code as it’s usually not as restrictive as sale fares. While this one is available during a certain travel window, it’s not noted that there’s any limitations on how many people per flight can use it and it’s not limited to certain routes (other than it needing to be domestic).

Since this promo code is only valid on Virgin Australia’s website, you’ll need to book directly with the airline to you use. You can do that on its website. Then, add the promo code AFL24 and make your booking before 7 April, 2024.
